קול קורא לאמנים, אוצרים, קולקטיבים, מוזמנות ומוזמנים להציע תערוכות / יוזמות ייעודיות אשר במידה ויבחרו יוצגו בגלריה במרחב הציבורי בלב ירושלים במהלך שנת 2022. הצעות שיבחרו ימומנו במלואן בהתאם לתקציב הגלריה.

כחלק מההצעה לתערוכה/יוזמה המוצעת, נשמח לקבל הצעות לתוצרים נלווים/תומכים בהצעה ומתקיימים במרחב הציבורי, קול קורא לאמנים, אוצרים, קולקטיבים, מוזמנות ומוזמנים להציע תערוכות / יוזמות ייעודיות אשר במידה ויבחרו יוצגו בגלריה במרחב הציבורי בלב ירושלים במהלך שנת 2022. הצעות שיבחרו ימומנו במלואן בהתאם לתקציב הגלריה.בכל מדיום נלווה כגון פרינט, וידאו מפינג, מיצג, מיצב, רב תחומי ומדיומים נוספים.
לא יוצג גוף עבודות שהוצג בעבר במלואו
הצעה שתיבחר תכלול הרצאת אמן / סדנה / שיח גלריה בנוסף לתערוכה
הצעות שיבחרו להצגה ימומנו במלואן על ידי הגלריה בהתאם לתקציב הגלריה.

על הגלריה הגלריה ממוקמת במפלס הרחוב במרכז העיר ירושלים, רחוב יפו 97 ברחבה החיצונית של מרכז כלל ומורכבת מחמש קופסאות אור מוזיאליות (Light-Box) דו צדדיות העשויות זכוכית, אשר מציגות צילומי ענק בהן יוצגו מספר תערוכות מתחלפות במשך כל שנה. התערוכות חשופות לקהל לאורך כל שעות היממה וימות השנה.

מטרת הגלריה היא ליצור פורטל אמנותי המנתק את עוברי האורח משגרת היום יום, ומאפשר חריגה מההשקפות וההרגלים המוכרים אל עבר מחוזות מחשבה חדשים.

דגשים להצעות – נושא פתוח

לפני הגשת ההצעה נמליץ להגיע לסיור בגלריה

מדיום: כל מדיום המאפשר תצוגה בפרינט או כל רעיון אחר אשר יכול לעשות שימוש מתאים (מעבר לפרינט או בשילובו) לקופסאות האור או לחלל הגלריה.
התאמה למיקום הגלריה – אוכלוסיה / אווירה / אסתטיקה / גיאוגרפיה לאו דווקא במובן הישיר שלה.
התאמה לפורמט, אופן וגודל התצוגה – לא כל עבודה מתאימה להצגה בסקייל גדול ובקופסאות אור.

על הדימויים המוצגים להיות איכותיים ומתאימים להדפסה בגדלים: גובה 1.80 מ׳ / רוחב 2.5 מ׳

סגירת הקבצים הסופיים שיוצגו במידה וההצעה תתקבל: רוחב 25 ס״מ / גובה 18 ס״מ / DPI 720 / סוג קובץ TIFF / פרופיל צבע CMYK

אופן ההצעה

יש לשלוח הצעות קונקרטיות מסודרות

וברורות בקובץ PDF אחד שלא יעלה על 10 מ"ב הכולל את כל הפרטים הבאים:

פרטים אישיים, CV עדכני (עד 250 מילה)
טקסט רעיוני המסביר וממחיש אודות היוזמה/התערוכה והתמה (עד 250 מילה) וטקסט הסבר לתוצרים נלווים – במידה ויש (עד 250 מילה).

עשרה דימויים / סקיצות / הדמיות וכל מידע ויזואלי אחר היכול לעזור לנו להבין את ההצעה.
תיק עבודות – דיגיטלי, במידה ולא קיים (דיגיטלי) אנא צרפו בין 15 ל- 20 דימויים

גודל העבודות המוצגות: גובה 1.80 מ' / רוחב 2.5 מ׳
העבודות עצמן מודפסות על שקף מיוחד.
פרופיל קופסאות האור, כמו גם חזיתות התצוגה עשויות זכוכית, כך שכל שטח הקופסה מואר ומשמש אובייקט תצוגה במרחב. העבודות מוצגות על שתי חזיתות בכל קופסת אור (חמש קופסאות).
סה"כ תשע עבודות מוצגות בכל תערוכה, טקסט אחד (אופציה לשילוב דימוי בו).

Artists, curators, collectives, are invited to present exhibitions/initiatives. Selected exhibitions and initiatives will be showcased during 2022 in the public space gallery at the heart of Jerusalem Selected proposals will be fully funded according to gallery budget

We will be happy to receive as part of the submitted exhibition/initiative, submissions for additional/supporting materials in any medium such as print, video mapping, installation, multi-disciplinary as well as other mediums ‭ ‬Bodies of work that have been previously‭ ‬displayed in full will not be selected‭ ‬‭ ‬The chosen artist/submitter will be asked to hold a lecture/workshop/gallery talk, in addition to the exhibition itself Selected proposals submitted by artists, curators and collectives will be fully funded by the gallery (according to gallery budget)

About the gallery

The gallery is located on street level at the center of Jerusalem, on 97 Jaffa St. , on the outside plaza of the Klal Center. It is comprised of five double–sided Musial light boxes made of glass, displaying large scale photography in ongoing changing exhibitions every year. The exhibitions are open for public viewing in all hours and throughout the entire year The purpose of the gallery is to create an artistic portal that disengages the passerby from their daily routine, and allows a divergence from the familiar thoughts and habits into new horizons of thought.

A professional committee will review the applications submitted and make a decision at its sole discretion.

Medium: Any medium that allows a display in print or any other idea that is suitable for the light boxes.

Modification to the location of the gallery – population / atmosphere / aesthetics / geography not necessarily in its literal sense.

Proposals that fit the mode and size of the exhibition – not every work is suited for large-scale light box display.

The images must be of high quality and suited for print on the following scale:

Proposal Guidelines

submissions must be clear, concrete and

organized in one PDF file not exceeding 10 MB

Personal details, CV (up to 250 words).
Conceptual text explaining the initiative/exhibition and the theme (up to 250 words) and an explanatory text for ancillary products – if any (up to 250 words).
Ten images / sketches / simulations and any other visual information that can help us understand the proposal.
Portfolio – digital, if not available (digital), please attach between 15 and 20 images.

Technical details on the gallery

Light-box dimensions:

Height – 2.07 Meters

Width – 2.62 Meters/Depth – 30 cm

Size of work displayed:

Height – 1.80 Meters / Width – 2.5 Meters.

The works are printed on transparent paper.
The front and profiles of the light boxes are made of glass, so the entire surface of the box is lit and is an object of display in the space.
The works are displayed on two sides of every light box (five boxes), total of nine works and one text in every exhibition.
